Empowering Change: Temisan Barber's Journey in Advocacy and Women's Empowerment

Embarking on a transformative journey, Temisan Barber, a minister, public speaker, campaign director, businessman, golfer, and motorcycle enthusiast, devoted over a decade and a half to social welfare and women’s empowerment. Spanning 26 countries in Africa and the Middle East, he emerges as a stalwart champion for women’s rights.

Initiating his mission in 2011, orchestrating the largest Christian gathering in Sierra Leone, Temisan led impactful social outreaches to the victims of the Civil War. Encountering women scarred physically, psychologically, and financially, his dedication to their cause was inspired by the teachings of Jesus, who uplifted and defended women without societal biases.

Venturing beyond borders, Temisan collaborated with interfaith groups across Africa, tirelessly advocating for women’s rights. His campaigns included financial empowerment, medical outreaches, and women’s prison visitations, addressing diverse needs at various levels.

With a three-pronged approach emphasizing education, health, and social interventions through financial platforms, Temisan underscores the belief that empowering a girl child contributes to uplifting an entire nation.

Amidst his admiration for African leaders like Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Chimamanda Adichie, and Mrs. Dlamini Zuma, Temisan shared his impactful message on diverse platforms, connecting with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic groups.

Currently focused on empowering women in tech through Liberty Tech Support, Temisan provides a platform for training as product owners and scrum masters, fostering their exploration of tech careers and full potential.

While facing the challenges in the ongoing struggle for women’s rights, Temisan Barber stands as a beacon of hope. His relentless efforts, passion, and commitment to gender equality create a powerful ripple effect, transforming lives and shaping societies.
